Instruction for authors

   Manuscript submission. Papers are submitted for publication by sending two copies of manuscript to the address:

 Institute of Computer Science, Jagiellonian University,

 Nawojki 11, 30-072 Kraków, POLAND.

Please, do not sent electronic version at this time. All further correspondence, proofs, and offprints will be sent to the first author, unless indicated otherwise by the authors.

   Form of manuscript. The exclusive language of the journal is English. The text should be prepared in some form of TEX, or by MS Word. We encourage authors to follow the guidelines and patterns as by the typeset of the final electronic version.

   Original manuscript and offprints. The original manuscript and figures will be discarded one month after publication unless the Publisher is explicitly asked by the author to return the original material.

   Final electronic version. Upon acceptance of the paper, the author will be asked to submit the electronic version, preferably prepared with LaTeX. The MS Word 2000 version is admissible too. The final versions should be prepared according to guidelines and patterns contained in downloadable archives:

      http://www.ii.uj.edu.pl/Schedae/Schedae-Word2000.zip for the Microsoft Word2000 typeset.  

The final electronic version should contain: source (input) files, e.g. TEX or MS Word2000 files for the text, PS or EPS files for figures, as well as final DVI, PS or PDF files. Non-standard styles, macro-definitions, or fonts should be also provided. Please submit together your own printout of the final version by the regular mail. 

Make sure that the text is identical in all cases!  

Files can be sent via e-mail (bielecki@ii.uj.edu.pl) in the form of compressed attachments (maximal size of the attachment(s) in single e-mail is 2 MegaByte) as well as using CD-R or a MS-DOS format diskette.
